mp3Tag Pro can process a variety of audio files, including MP3, FLAC, or APE, and it can perform a variety of tasks: edit existing tags, get tags from the web, rename audio files, play audio files, download lyrics from the web, download album art from the web, sort your collection by genre, artist, album. All this wonderful functionality is delivered via a user friendly, intuitive interface.

The mp3Tag Pro installation file is 3.2MB in size. Download this file, run it, and a setup wizard will show up and take you through the installation process. You will be able to quickly install mp3Tag Pro on your Windows PC in the language of your choice (multiple languages are supported). When you’re done and you launch the application, you will be presented with a reminder telling you that you’re using the trial version.

The interface is divided into several panels. The Folder’s panel in the upper left hand corner allows you to explore your machine and find a folder that holds audio files. Select a folder and its contents will be displayed in the panel to the right. Select a track and its cover, ID3 tags and lyrics will be presented in the panels down at the bottom. Above these panels there’s a toolbar and a traditional File Menu. So overall, it is an intuitive, very easy to use interface that will not pose any problems.

mp3Tag Pro has been around for more than a decade and during all this time its functionality got better and better. All this functionality is not free. The trial comes with several limitations: 30-day evaluation period, download only 50% of lyrics from the web, logo on images downloaded from the web, only 50 files can be processed per session.
